On the threshold of the International festival

The Great Silk Road played an important role in social-political, economical and cultural life of Central Asia’s nations as a caravan road that was the first to connect countries of the East and the West.  These interconnections  were the main causes for the folk to establish examples of oral artistic creatures such as  folklore, performing arts, folk dances, puppet, teeth and wooden legs.

Currently, the various forms of Folk are being applied in all nations’ art which includes the epic, musical, storytelling, wordpraising, narrating, mythical, oral epical, legendary, exaggerating, oral debatable, comical works and bards. The dramatic works such as dance, puppet, mockery and stick games, keenness, humorism, public theatre are also highlighted in these works. Additionally, the works based on the songs on the independently-chosen topic, including song , vocal duets, yalla, games with applauses, dedications, military music, literal orator and literal reciting  can be seen in this art.

In the past, amateur singers , drums and goyandas sang individually or as a group (ansamble), with the musical instrument – dutar.  The Silk Road – the entrance of international musical instruments through intercontinental commercial roads by traders- played an enormously crucial role in the harmony of musical instruments. In turn, this contributed  to the development of music art. In the art of folk permormance various musical instruments  such as balalaika (Russia), kiyok, kumuz (Kyrgizistan ), bandura (Ukraine), dutar ( Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan, Karakalpakhistan), setor (Arabistan, Turkey) are being played on a large scale and currently the types of the above instruments are being improved , which is enhancing their chances.

The folk art handed down from generation to generation is the chore of our national culture and high literal ability.
